Description: Minni was rescued from a local shelter after she was found alone on the street. She only had three teeth and they had to be removed during her initial vetting. Minni eats soft food just fine and loves little bites of peanut butter as a treat. Minni has a little bit of arthritis in her back end and joint supplements are helping her mobility. Minni's former family had trained her to use puppy pads and she is learning to go outside to do her business. She will still mistake a doormat or small rug for a piddle pad now and then but she is making good progress. Minni is a tiny girl and we originally thought she would be the perfect sized dog for an apartment but she is vocal and she will let you know when she hears neighbors or their dogs outside. Minni doesn't care for being crated and will bark and cry but does well when gated in bathroom or laundry room. Minni gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home but she won't hesitate to show the other dogs her 'gums' if they invade her space. Minni requires gentle handling and will need a home without small children. We are unsure at this time how she is with cats. Minni is a sweet little companion. Please consider adding her to your family!
