Buster must be adopted with his companion, Mina (adopted).
Description:
Buster and his best friend and sister Mina came to ATDR from a shelter and, although scared at first, have adjusted quickly to being happy now in their foster home together. They’ve been together since they were very young, sleeping snuggled and being pretty much inseparable. They love each other… In the house, they stick together, but Buster, although very sweet and also a kissing man, is more independent and also can be a bit territorial. Toys are okay but not a necessity for him all the time. They are wonderful dogs and never get into the trash or anything else. They love chewies but do not chew on anything they shouldn’t!
They would both love sleeping in the big bed, but they both crate well without any problem and will always let their foster mom know when it's time in the morning to get outside and they do so in a hurry! Buster is a good eater but Mina likes to take her time, so Buster needs to be watched so he doesn’t help her finish her meals. Both dogs walk well on a leash and look forward every morning to their mile walk after breakfast. They are both explorers on the five acres where they are being fostered, and sometimes she leads him into the woods for an adventure. They love to run and chase each other and whatever is running around…on the property there are lots of bunnies larger than they are and they get excited and try to catch them, but no luck so far!!! They both need to be walked regularly to keep their weight down. They both regularly use the doggie door and enjoy being outside when the weather is good. They are very active outside, but when they come in, most of the time they get into their chair and snooze.
Before coming into rescue, this sweet pair was well loved by a senior person who had to give up her home and could no longer keep them. They need to stay together. They’d be perfect for a home looking for two bonded pups to love and share life with and would be best going to a home where they’re the only dogs. Won't you please consider opening your heart and your home to these two sweet pups?
