Spark is the new kid on the block at ATDR!  This handsome boy has a shiny red dapple coat and one blue eye and one brown eye.  He gets along well with others, is very affectionate and loves to snuggle.  He also loves playing with other dogs, toys and balls.  He’s house trained and crate trained.  His foster Mom is working with him on some basic agility training since he is bright and willing to please.  This boy will be a great addition to the lucky family who allows him to make them his own!  Consider Spark quickly because he won’t be around long!

Foster Mom says: Spark gets along very well with other dogs, large and small.  He does well with children.   He is initially shy around new people but once he gets to know you he’s very affectionate and snuggly .   He really likes to be petted and hugged.   When I’m stretched out on the couch with all the dogs, he likes to be right next to me snuggled up.  

Spark has learned to come on command from any part of the yard when I call “Come”.  His obedience skills are good, and could start in an agility class easily now. 

  He loves to bake in the hot sun and sometimes doesn’t want to come in timely when I think he’s been over baked.   I just have to use my squeaky voice of praising the other dogs that did come in and he zooms right in.   He really likes toys and will happily gut anything with stuffing, loves to play tug a war and chase with the other dogs.   He likes to walk on the top of the couch then pounce down on me as a trampoline to catch the other dogs unaware he’s coming to play.   He has a lot of character and charm.   He’s a real delight.  His social skills with people and confidence have improved over time since he’s been with me.   He gets along with all dogs.
