Description:

Bo and Luke (Named after The Dukes Of Hazard) were born on May 21, 2010. Their parents are going through a divorce and neither feels they can keep these sweet boys.

*Bo* is a beautiful long haired Cream Dachshund who is loving, loyal, and enjoys cuddles. He has allergies and currently takes prescription Apoquel 5.4mg daily.  We are 99% percent sure he is allergic to grass because he does so much better in the winter when the grass is dead and only takes this medication as needed in the winter months. Bo has severe stranger anxiety…he has been that way all his life. His mother was skittish as well, so it’s likely inherited. He does do better when he gets to go to dog parks and is exposed to more people. He would do well with someone who is patient and able to work with him. His brother Luke is also a great comfort for him.

Both boys will come with bedding, toys, and supplies from the family who has surrendered them. There is also a crate to go with the two of them. They currently sleep together in their little beds and were only crated as puppies for house training. Bo, however, might find comfort in the crate until he adjusts. They do need to be separated at meal time since Luke will eat everything if fed together!

It’s not their fault their mom and dad decided to go their separate way, leaving them behind…won’t you please consider making these two bonded brothers a part of your family!  They are precious beyond words and would love you more than you could imagine!
