Alisha has had an interesting few months! When she found herself abandoned in the leash isle at PetCo, her foster mom answered their call to come and save her. She was a shy and nervous girl but very sweet. A trip to the vet revealed a bladder infection that took 3 rounds of antibiotics to clear up. After getting her shots and her spay (which surprisingly revealed she was also newly pregnant with pups already too big for her to safely deliver) Alisha moved into phase 2 of rescue, Heartworm treatment....at the tender age of @ 1 1/2 years old. But thru it all, her fosters were there taking care of her and teaching her to trust people. What emerged was a very happy, energetic little girl who loves to play with toys & dogs and who's most favorite hobby in the world is hunting squirrels. She can sit for hours staring into the last tree she saw them in, just waiting for them to reappear....even in the pouring rain!!! Alisha loves to get in her crate and is a very, very good girl sleeping in it, but she also loves sleeping in the bed. She loves to be petted and snuggled. She is a very, very happy dog and brings much laughter to her foster parents watching her enjoy her new life!!
