Skipper is new to rescue!  He was surrendered by a family member who didn't seem to know much about any of his own dogs.  Skipper was one of two youngsters, and was dumped with an older female that might well be his own mother!   Skipper is a sweet and loving little 10 pound boy.  He loves nothing more than to cuddle on the sofa watching TV and having his belly scratched! He gets along well with all of his foster brothers and sisters, and plays a little from time to time. He is crate trained, but his foster mom has let him have run of the house while she is at work and he doesn't get into any trouble. 

Skipper appears to be a recessive longhaired dachshund - one parent was probably long and one was smooth!  His coat looks short but it is super silky like fur and it is a bit longer than a regular smooth.  Skipper is quite a conversationalist!  He loves to chat with you about your day when you come home from work, and will be happy to talk to you anytime you are lonely!
