Description: Introducing Ms. Betsy Bloomers!!! This precious Senior lady was a stray at a small rural shelter. When her owners did not claim her, her ATDR foster Mom did! Her nails were extremely long, her teeth were in horrible shape and her coat was very dull and she was very thin. After a few weeks of TLC, good food and medical care this sweet girl is blooming! Ms. Betsy is here to tell you that she has a lot of living left to do! We don't know her age but the vet said about 12 years young and she weighs 10 pds. She has a heart murmur that she is on medication for and is a little hard of of hearing. Her blood work came back great and she only lost one tooth when she had her teeth cleaned! Betsy has been a delight in her foster home, she gets along well with other dogs and all people. She loves to cuddle and go for walks, but most of all loves to be near her human. Whenever she see's her foster mom sit down she comes running to be picked up and held. As long as you hold her she will watch tv with you, or sit with you out side and watch the world go by. As soon as you put her down she gets in her bed and takes a nap. Betsy is house trained as long as you take her out on a regular schedule. She is crate trained and sleeps all night. She is also Heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and microchipped. If you are looking for a low maintenance lady, with lots of love to offer, then Ms. Betsy is your girl!
