Copper Penny is a beautiful shiney copper colored red female dachshund who recently lost her home due to illness.  She loved her owner with all of her heart and things just didn't go well for them.  Her next home was a family with children and she was frightened of the noise level and a bit unhappy about sharing her life with small children.  So - finally content with an adult only foster home, Copper is coming out of her shell.  She is sweet and loving to her foster Mom, good with all of the dogs she has met, even the big dog!  We recommend a calm and happy home for her - she is most deserving of the life she was promised and a place where she can feel secuire and loved!
