Description:
Miss Minnie is a tiny 7 year old bundle of energy, who would love to be adopted by someone willing to throw a ball (or a squeaky toy!) for her in the evenings. She's a big fan of wrestling with the bigger (20 pound) boys in her foster home, so would have no problem having a friend to play with during the day, either. There's a lot of smarts in that tiny head, she took to the dog door with no problem whatsoever, and even managed to open it when it didn't get quite locked one evening. She is also puppy pad trained. Unlike a lot of hounds, she's not particularly food motivated, but does enjoy a nice chew bone. Minnie came to us with a positive heartworm diagnosis, but we expect no issues in treatment and she'll be ready to go to a new home very soon.
