Lexie was an owner surrender at the San Marcos Animal Shelter. Her owners did not pay for veterinary care for her. She was urinating blood due to 5.5 ounces of bladder stones! They said she was too old to invest in her care. ATDR quickly scooped up this precious girl and gave her the veterinary care she needed and the bladder stone have now been successfully removed.
Lexie is now amazingly spry. She's housebroken, doggy friendly, loves people and LOVES cuddling. Her uncaring family broke her little heart…she was so sad for a while...but with the TLC of a loving foster mom she slowly came around. With love and kindness, she has become a happy girl.
Lexie would make the perfect companion and cuddle buddy for some lucky someone! If you would like to give her the happy ending she deserves, please submit an adoption application for this sweet girl. She's ready to fill that empty spot in your heart and chair with unending love...
