Monte is a great boy, whose family dumped him at the local shelter.  He is very overweight and not very active due to his robust size.  Monte is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever had.  He is happy and his tail never stops wagging.  He is easy going and loves everyone!  He is currently on a serious diet and is starting to have a little bit of a waistline.  If all goes well - Monte should be fit and trim in early 2018.  Monte is a doll with a wonderful standard dachshund personality.  His weight is an issue but we are working on that.  Stay tuned as we watch the pounds melt away on sweet Monte.
