Hi, my name is Josie! I found myself in rescue when my Poppa passed away. I am a beautiful Black and Tan tweenie girl. I weigh about 15 pounds, but my foster mom says I am a bit on the fluffy side and should weigh about 10 pounds. She is working on helping me to slim down. I just turned 9 years old. My Poppa loved me very much and took very good care of me. My foster mom says I am very sweet and well behaved. I know to potty outside and can use a doggie door. I do okay with other small dogs, but I can be bossy and jealous when I have to share my hooman. When my Poppa had me, we were together all the time. We spent a lot of time on the couch and went for walks. I have never been around kids or kitty cats. I bark at strangers but warm up quickly. I am longing for a home of my own again and a new lap to warm. My foster mom says I am very low maintenance and would make a wonderful companion.
