My foster mom says that she doesn’t normally like to foster puppies, but I’ve changed her mind forever. My name is Coleman and I’m just perfect! I was found at a gas station in the country and I had been there several days by myself. Apparently my charm, smile and tail wags are irresistible because now I get to eat out of a pretty bowl and have a collar.

My vet told me that I’m a yellow lab mixed with dachshund, but I’m not really sure. She also said that I am 18 pounds and 5 months old, but I probably won’t get bigger than 25 or 30 pounds when I grow up.

I’ve already been told by lots of people that I’m the friendliest, sweetest, happiest and most affectionate little guy they have ever met. I’m still pretty shy when I first meet new people, but I’m getting more trusting everyday. I’ve been having lots of fun here with my new friends, but I still really want a forever home. I’d like to sit in your lap, take naps with you, run around in the yard and I’ll even let you rub my belly!

I’m getting along very well with my 4 dogs friends here. I know I’d do best if I had at least one friend to play with and kids would be good too! I’ve already been neutered, dewormed, vaccinated and I’m doing great with potty, kennel, and leash training. I’m really smart and this stuff is so easy for me.

I know that I look a little different from everyone else, but I’m full of love and can’t wait to make a wonderful difference in your life.
