Description:
Pudge is an 8 yr old longhair silver dapple male who weighs 15 lbs. We found him at a Dallas shelter where his family had left him when they were no longer able to care for him. We took care of his vetting and a much needed haircut, and he's in great physical condition. Pudge is very sweet natured and gentle. He has a long, narrow dachshund nose and the most soulful eyes; you just want to melt when he looks at you. He's still settling into his foster home, but so far we know he's very friendly to men & women, gets along well with other dogs, is fine with cats, and he appears to be housetrained. Pudge is a happy boy whose tail wags like crazy when you talk to him. We'll post more info on him as we learn more about this precious boy.

Update April 1, 2007: We cannot figure out why anyone would call this precious boy Pudge! He's not pudgy, he doesn't respond to the name and it certainly doesn't fit his personality! He blended perfectly into his foster home and is such a gentleman. He does fine in or out of a crate, and just wants to be where his foster mom is when she's at home. He's a sweet, sweet boy. He's a small standard and needs to gain a little weight. We'll post new pics soon!
