Lyla was found as a stray in South Texas where the streets are mean and the chances a dog surviving are slim to none. Lyla was one of the lucky ones, being spotted by a great rescue volunteer and ATDR was contacted. This gem of a wire-haired dachshund is about 2 years old and very active. She is a happy girl who loves all people and really is a social butterfly! She is sweet and loving and actually great with men. She was a bit shy when she first came to ATDR, but that changed quickly and she has learned that everyone loves her and she is reciprocating. She enjoys a big yard and loves her toys. This big girl is a bit of a counter surfer, so be careful where you place your keys and your groceries! Lyla is all about love and would like to make that connection.
