Description:

Meet Little V! ATDR is so happy she is safe now in a kind foster home receiving the love and veterinary care she was in need of. She had been outside so much she came to us fearful of whether she’d be let back in the house or not. She’s now making progress at learning to trust her humans and the other pets around her. She’s ok with other dogs once she gets to know them, but she’s sometimes fearful and may take a while to warm up to other dogs and some people. She hasn’t been exposed to kitty cats, so we’re unsure about them!

Little V is housebroken and will either go outside or use pee pads if she must. She needs to be crated when riding in a car or will be frightened and look for something to get underneath. She’s working on her leash training and a few other things to polish her up! She’s already learned to use the doggie ramp and is now spending more time on the big bed! She’s also learning to enjoy being outside with the others.

Little V’s foster mom feels she would thrive in a household as an only pet or perhaps with another dog who is reasonably quiet and calm. Won’t you please open your heart and consider giving this girl the loving forever home she’s so deserving of? All you need to do is submit an adoption application for Little V…she truly responds love and kindness…

Sadly, Little V has tested positive for heart worms and is facing treatment so won't be ready to go until mid May. She'll be reviewing adoption applications while she's recovering, so now is the time to submit one. She'll be ready to go before you know it and well worth the wait!
