Handsome little Matt was found on the east side of Houston in an industrial area…walking on the side of the road with no homes in sight. His condition was disturbing as he was covered in mats and had three large wounds on his back that had become infected. Matt is fully healed and he is the happiest, liveliest and most loving boy you’ll ever find! He loves to play and enjoys that playtime with a couple of his foster brothers and sisters. He loves his balls and toys and will retrieve them when thrown! Matt also gets along with his two dog-friendly indoor kitty cat foster siblings and actually enjoys playing with one of them who is several pounds heavier!  

Matt would love to go to a loving forever home and have another dog his size or older children to play with. He is high energy so a romp in the yard is one of the things he loves best! Matt is coming along well with his housebreaking as long as he gets to go out often. He is good on a leash but has never been crated; however, he would probably do well if he was.
