Meet Buddy the Basset! Buddy is a big boy Basset hound weighing in at 50 lbs. He’s approximately 3 years old. This boy has had several homes where he wasn’t really taken care of. When he came to us he was high heart worm positive, not vaccinated, not neutered and not house trained. Buddy has successfully been treated for heart worms, recently neutered, vaccinated and is now doggy door trained! Buddy gets along with everyone at his foster home, big dogs, little dogs and cats! He’s a happy-go-lucky boy but a bit too interested in the birds!  Car rides are not Buddy’s favorite thing to do since he usually gets car sick but he’s getting better. Buddy loves hunting moles. If you have moles, he will find them and dig them right up. The best home for Buddy would be a home with children he could play with, another dog to play with while the kids are at school, a couch he can snuggle on and a securely fenced yard. Oh and Buddy is a talker so no apartments, condos or townhouses.
