Meet beautiful little Connie! ATDR immediately jumped into action to save this sweetheart from the South Texas shelter she’d somehow landed in. She’s now enjoying the comforts of a loving foster home where we’ve been told she’s very people oriented, gets along well with other pups except for dominant females, gets along well with the cat in the house and shows absolutely no interest in the bird! Even though she has a bit of sight loss, it doesn’t slow her down! She LOVES nothing better than snuggling in the recliner with her foster mom and taking in a little TV! She also loves taking walks! She’s also pee pad trained as well as house trained, making her very easy to share life with. All in all, Connie has an outstanding personality and is a delight to live with even though she’s suffered some abuse in another life. Thankfully, this hasn’t affected her temperament at all...she just chooses to leave the room when she hears loud voices!
Connie has completed her heart worm treatments and all of her vetting and she’s now ready to go to a forever home of her own where she'll be loved and cared for and never be homeless again. She’s precious beyond words and needs to go to a home where people are quiet and gentle as well as a home with no dominant female pups. If you’re looking for a wonderful best friend and companion, please submit an adoption application for Connie. She’s ready to share life’s adventures with you!
