Description:
Doc came into rescue with Oscar, the puppy, who is on the list.  It would be great if we could place them together, but it is not necessary.  They love to be with each other, playing and running around the yard.
Doc gets along well with all of his foster brothers and sisters.  He likes running in and out the doggie door, chasing squirrels and lizards.
He likes to play fetch and adores his chew bones.  He will gather up all the bones, one by one, and pile them up on his bed and try to chew on all of them at the same time.  He doesn't fight over them, though, and he shares toys well with the other dogs.
He is crate trained and sleeps well in his crate at night, burrowed under a blanket, but I'm sure he would prefer sleeping in the big bed.
He enjoys taking walks and is very well leash trained.
It would be best if he go to a home without small children, as he may have a tendency to be protective of his owners,  and it might present a problem with newcomers running in and out all the time.
He is ready to go to his new home and will make a great companion for the right family.
