Meet sweet Magnolia, also known as Maggs! This senior girl was an owner surrender, having only had one home since she was six weeks old until coming into rescue. Sometimes there are circumstances beyond a pet parent’s control that put them in a position where they can’t care for their babies anymore, but little Maggs is now having to come to terms with that… She’s been confused and lonely for the person she had loved so long, but she’s now living in a safe comfortable foster home being given loving care not only by a doting foster mom but also by another precious little senior, Tilly (also on the site), who has bonded with Maggs understanding only too well how she feels… She has slept in the big bed with her foster mom cuddling with tiny Tilly from the very first night. They preciously curl up together and sleep through the night…
Maggs is the sweetest girl who, even in her saddened state, has loved giving lots of kisses right from the beginning. Sadly, she's blind and deaf on her right side, but can see and hear some on her left side...this doesn't affect her getting around and functioning as normally as most seniors do! When she’s not cuddling with Tilly, she chooses to slip away into a crate with the door open…this is her comfort zone...her whole world was turned upside down so she feels comfortable there. Little by little she’s venturing out of the crate on her own….things are slowly becoming better for sweet Maggs.
If you can find it in your heart to offer a tiny senior girl kindness, love and security again in her golden years, please submit an adoption application for Magnolia. She would fit right into that empty spot snuggled next to you in your comfortable chair…
