Hey I'm Maxy! I'm is a fabulous dapple dachshund neutered boy, about 3.5 years old weighing in at approximately 15 pounds. I am great with other dogs and children, but not so well with cats.  I am loyal and loving little guy that loves to burrow under the covers..  I know a few commands like sit, no, and stay, and I also know how to use a doggy door.  I love to lay out in the sun on breezy afternoons to work on my tan.  Recently, my favorite thing to do is to climb up the ladders to go down the slide.  I am just waiting for an open loving heart and home to sweep me away.  Do you have room in your heart for a fun, energetic dog?
