Description:

Say hello to Honeywine! This long-haired little beauty is a very happy, loving pup who adores giving kisses and being near her person. She likes all kind of toys, especially ones that squeak, as well as large tennis balls (even though they barely fit in her mouth). She came to ATDR already pottie trained and has been doing very well in her new foster home. She will only pottie on grass though, even outside in the backyard where there is a patch of mulch instead of grass…she won’t pottie there. She’s crate trained and sleeps in her own crate; however, she whines each night because she doesn’t like being left alone away from her human(s). The whining has become less and less with each night…her foster parents have figured out it is not a whining to go out and pottie but for attention and being sad she's alone. She really likes soft blankets and that is when she will cuddle with you. Her previous person was a man and now she's with women in her foster home so she does well with either. She’s not had a chance to interact with kids yet however.

She’s working on her leash training. When she has her harness on she doesn't pull. When she encounters other dogs on the same side of the street with her, she barks at them like most dogs. She's doing really well with walks. The longest walk she’s had has been just over half an hour, but she could have probably gone longer.

Honeywine is precious beyond words and deserves the very best forever home out there, but she needs to be an only dog and would probably be best suited to living in a house rather than an apartment or condo since she might whine or make noise when her people are gone. Sooo...if you live in a house and you’re looking for a one and only best friend and companion to share life’s adventures with, please submit an adoption application for this special girl. She’s just waiting to fill your heart with love and to brighten your days and nights as only a devoted pup can…
