Description:

Miss Bea is a darling girl who came from a shelter in North Texas. ATDR is proud to offer her a comfortable foster home where she can hang her little hat! This sweet baby is vision impaired, but not completely blind. Miss Bea, aka Tiny Boss Lady, has an extreme case of dry eye and will be on eye drops for life. Not a hard thing to do for a precious best friend! She has no teeth, but that's not slowing her ability to eat and enjoy food one bit! She eats kibble soaked with water topped with a little canned food just as quickly as any dog with teeth.

Her foster mom reports that she's extremely lively and chipper and has become confident enough to protect the yard from squirrels. She also yells really loudly at the cows in the woods behind her foster house. (There are two fences between her and the cows, so no possibility of actual contact, so the cows are in no real danger here!) She’s truly enjoying her new beginning flipping from a shy and timid slow moving girl to an absolute wild child! She has also been trying to blockade her foster mom’s steps to force her to cease human dinner prep and FEED her!!!

Miss Bea seems like she might be likely to snuggle with a friendly cat, if the cat is agreeable. Most cats you know are bigger than Bea, plus having zero teeth, there’s no way she could damage a kitty! She seems unlikely to bark at a feline roommate and is also just as curious as a cat. She is using dog door, and will speak out loudly if she is in the X-pen and needs to get out to do her business. She seems to believe herself a supervisor and is content to observe everything happening around her. She also enjoys riding in a shoulder bag like the little queen she is when she gets tired of strolling.

She looks and sounds like a puppy. She would do well in apartment life. She holds her potty business until in the outdoors, yet does not hunt or even do much sniffing about. She is also quiet unless she needs food or out to potty.

This precious little doll is anxious to find a loving person or family without small children who will cherish and care for her and never leave her homeless again. If you’re looking for a super sweet girl to warm your heart and comfortable chair, please submit an adoption application for Miss Bea. She would love you more than you could ever imagine…
