Meet Jordan! This precious boy was found as a stray and is so happy to be in a warm, comfortable ATDR foster home now. Jordan was tied to a post with a previous orthopedic injury and an orthopedic pin sticking out of his back leg. X-rays showed the femur was healed long ago but the pin had twisted and poked out. It doesn't seem to bother him or slow him down at all. He runs like the wind but does lift that leg in a stiff straight position. He is fine to put weight on it and uses it to balance when he lifts the opposite leg to urinate.
Jordan is a sweet and gentle red dapple male with a lot of love to give! He is a velcro boy and wants nothing more than to hang in the lap of his human. He is great with other dogs, big and small and loves cuddle time. Please consider this happy boy for the home he deserves.
He’s currently receiving needed veterinary care, so stay tuned as we learn more about him to relay.
Jordan is hoping when he’s all better that some wonderful person or family will give him a loving forever home. He will probably do best in a home without children unless they’re older responsible ones who will treat him gently. If you’d like to make Jordan’s dreams come true, please submit an adoption application for him. In the meantime if you have it in your heart to make a contribution toward his veterinary care, it would be greatly appreciated. Just go to the Donate Button to the left of his profile. Nothing could be too big or too small…
