Special Needs: 956000011886747
Description:
UPDATE: Rue has had an accidental fall that has cause IVDD and she is now undergoing treatment at Safari in League City. She has had two rounds of stem cells and will be doing follow up physical therapy for about a month to see if she will be able to walk again soon. Please keep Rue and her sister Brenda in your prayers.
Say hello to Rue! This beautiful girl somehow found herself in a shelter and ATDR couldn’t say no to bringing her into its fold. While at the shelter Rue became bonded with her now BFF and companion Brenda, also on the site. These tiny girls have been through a lot together and find great comfort in each other and need to be adopted together. They’re now safe and enjoying life in a loving foster home receiving the veterinary care they’d been needing.
Rue's foster mom reports that she's very active and loves to play with toys; she’s found all the C.E.T. chews that her foster brother hid around the house. She likes to sit or curl up on the back of the couch. Also, she likes to let her foster parents know when someone is at the door or if she notices any movement outside their house (car or people walking by). She doesn’t bark too much though. She’s very sweet and will do whatever is necessary to get your attention…stand on her hind legs; jump in your lap; roll on her back for a belly rub. She’s a good girl and goes to the door when she needs or wants to go out. She looks out for Brenda…they’re very sweet together.
Due to their tiny sizes, it would be best if Rue and Brenda go to a home with no small children. Older responsible ones would be okay. If you’re looking for a precious pair of sweet housetrained girls to add to your family and share life with, please submit an adoption application for Rue and Brenda. They would love you more than you might ever imagine…
