Rusty is a handsome & loveable young red mini who came into rescue when his owner no longer had time for him. He has a very outgoing personality and loves to play with the other doxies in his foster home. He’s enrolled in house training 101 and has learned to use the doggie door. Rusty is full of energy and will make a wonderful addition to a home who will enjoy a frisky puppy to call their own.

Update July 3, 2007: Hi, Rusty here! Well, I'm a few months older now and getting close to my 1 year birthday. I was very excited when I got to my new foster home and have now settled in a bit and learned the routine really quickly. I still get excited when my foster mom and dad come home and I get to give them lots of lovins. I enjoy playing with my foster brothers and sister and really like to wrestle, especially when we play tug of war with the toys. It sure would be neat to have a little boy or girl to play with.

I am shaping up to be a really handsome dog and my foster mom and dad tell me I’m the best foster boy they have had. I listen well and have even learned to play fetch. I do everything they tell me to do and am always happy about it. When it comes to smarts, they tell me I got my fair share and then some. I sure would like to have a family of my own to celebrate my 1st birthday!
