Cody was abandoned at a kill shelter in North Texas.  He was so scared to be in a large cage with a bigger dog.  ATDR stepped in to rescue him!  He is such a cutie!!!  He has been neutered and has had all of his vaccines. He's microchipped and ready for fun!  He is less than six months old.  He has a beautiful red, smooth coat and shiny brown eyes. His teeth are all in and pearly white!  Cody is paper trained (for rainy days) and housetrained to the doggie door. Cody loves to play!!!  He is content to play alone with toys or with other dachshunds. Cody is a calm dog who loves to give puppy kisses!  He sits on command and comes when called. Cody would like to learn a lot more!!!!  He's very smart and eagerly waiting for the right loving home!!!
