Meet Buster… This precious boy made his way to ATDR from the small valley town of San Benito where he had been surrendered with IVDD for euthanasia. A wonderful volunteer stepped up and began the search for a rescue to help and of course when contacted, we quickly said yes. Buster traveled six hours to Houston on Sunday of New Year’s weekend, and Monday morning he received stem cells at Safari Vet Care Center in League City.  He is walking a bit stiff legged but he runs like the wind.  We consider him special needs but the vets feel like he is strong and will continue to improve as time goes on.  He will never be perfect, but he isn't in any pain and runs and plays like all the other guys!   Buster is the sweetest boy ever, and he is so grateful for the love and kindness being shown him…
