Hi, everyone, my name is Coco and I am a little, sweet girl.  My family gave me away because they had a baby and they said I didn't like her.  That isn't true, but I was a little jealous and just wanted some attention like I used to get.  What's wrong with that?
 
I am very happy here at my foster home and stay right on my foster mom's heels all the time.  If she sits down, even for one minute, I jump right in her lap.  I was a little bit jealous, at first, of the other dogs when they tried to get on her lap, too, but foster mom told me that wasn't nice, so we all pile up together now and it's okay with me.  Sometimes if her lap isn't available, I will sit with foster dad, but I like mom best.
 
I am very good when I have to go into my crate and I will get right in my pink bed and get all the way under my pink blanket.  I usually sleep in there at night, but sometimes foster mom and dad let me sleep wherever I want to, so I usually jump up on the couch.  When it thunders, though, I get to snuggle in the big bed because I am really, really afraid of the noise and my whole body shivers.  Foster mom holds me really close under the covers and that makes me feel safe.
 
I am very good about going potty outside, but we have a doggie door, so that makes it easy.  I haven't  had one accident in the house since I got here, so I think I'm just about perfect.
 
I love my foster parent's grandchildren, who are eight and eleven, and when they come over, I jump up in their laps and let them hug me.  One fault I have, though,  is if people  reach down to pick me up, I run away, so you just have to give me time to come over when I'm not scared.  If you sit down, I will be there in a New York minute!!  (I heard that somewhere) And I think it means FAST.
 
I do well with all the dogs, but I wouldn't mind being an only dog.  I really just want to sit on your lap every chance I get, so if you have a lot of time to give me, and a big lap who needs company, I am your girl.
 
I am current on my vaccinations, spayed, on heartworm prevention, and I just had my teeth cleaned pearly white.  So I am ready to go!!  I can't wait for you to take me home with you.
