Hi! I’m Lyric! In case you don’t know, that name means that I’m good natured, loving, and that I am a good companion. I was found wandering in the summer heat and a nice family picked me up and took me home. I’m happy to be inside where it’s cool and safe and where I get good food, treats, and lots of attention. I don’t have to be afraid of the rain, the night, or loud noises anymore. 

My foster family told me that I am smart and the best behaved dog that they have had. I am 1-2 years old, 50lbs, pounds, and have gorgeous hazel eyes. I am in the process of treating my heart worms. I am house trained and I’ve learned the doggie door. I’ve also learned how to sit for my treats and food bowl. I am perfect on a leash, in the car, and at the vet. I love everyone I meet and want to give lots of kisses. I’m happiest when getting belly rubs or when my foster family is snuggling with me. I love playing tug with my foster dad and I like sitting close to him with my head in his lap. I get along well with other dogs and would like a doggie friend in my new home. I spent a few days at the shelter and they used me as a temperament tester. That’s how awesome I am!
