Milk Dud is a 1 yr old, 12 lb mini who was left at a kill shelter by his family. He was scared to death in the shelter and reacted like a scared dog, hiding at the back of his cage, growling. He was marked unadoptable and scheduled to be euthanized, but luckily one of our wonderful volunteers heard about him and came to his rescue. When she reached for him he practically flew into her arms. Milk Dud is just shy and a little misunderstood we think. He spent his first day of freedom supervising his foster mom while she worked in her office, never leaving her side. When you touch him he just melts and is starved for any kind of attention. He's getting along fine with the other dogs in his foster home and totally ignores the cat. We'll post updates as we learn more about this handsome boy.
