Description:

Mina came into rescue very thin, completely covered in fleas, heartworm positive, parasite infested with a mouth full of horrible teeth. She was abandoned with several other dogs when her “owners” moved and left them all behind.

Mina immediately had a soothing bath, is now on heartworm preventative, parasite free and lost 15 teeth when she went for her dental and spay.

She is extremely submissive, but was quick to make the resident “boys’ leave her alone the first couple of weeks. She is now accustomed to the routine in her foster home and is the sweetest little girl that does not participate in the bark fest initiated by the others. She prefers her pen, but loves to be loved on and will venture around the house for a bit when the others are out and about. Mina has a gorgeous shiny, dark red coat and beautiful expressive eyes. Her foster mom says she hasn’t heard her bark once, but suspects that will come in time.

Mina’s future home should be quiet, with maybe another small dog or two or three.

If you’re looking for a lovely best friend to share a quiet life with, please submit an adoption application for Mina. She will steal your heart in an instant and be a loving loyal companion to the person who wins her trust
