Description:

I think I must be about the luckiest girl dog on the planet.  I was in a cold dark animal shelter, about to be put to sleep (permanently) when my guardian angel walked by and happened to see me out of the corner of her eye.  She was there to pick up another lucky dog, but she just could not leave me behind, thank goodness!  At that time, I was in pretty sad shape.  I had a severe ear infection caused by a non-cancerous tumor in my ear.  I was unable to walk without falling over because my balance was off, and I was deaf in that ear because of the severity of the infection.   But my guardian angel rescued me, took me to my foster mom angel, and got me the vet care I so desperately needed.  Two surgeries later, I am completely healthy, running and playing, and can even hear out of that ear.  I am doing my very best to repay my angels by always doing my business outside, by coming when called, by sitting quietly beside my foster mom on the couch and under the covers, and by walking obediently while on a leash.  I am trying to be the very best dog I can be to repay my angels who believed in me and rescued me.  One look into my eyes lets you know how grateful I am to have this second chance at life, and how much love and thanks I have inside me to give.  I hope that you will be the next angel in my life.

Update: 3/22/10 - Ginny has made a complete recovery and is doing great!  She is very well behaved, she loves everyone and is just a joy to have around!  Ginny has touched the hearts of everyone and she can't wait to touch yours!
