Meet Jake, a handsome red piebald male who was recently surrendered to a vet's office to Euthanize due to a back issue. Saved by the staff, he has done a round of medication and is walking very well with out any issues! 

Do to his prior scare, we recommend a quiet family with no small kids in the house.  A dachshund saavy home that understands that Jake can never jump off the furniture and should not do stairs!  Otherwise we feel that he is easy going, sweet and loyal to his humans.  He'd be great for a retired couple or single, loves other dogs as long as they aren't too rambunctious.  Jake loves the yard and will putter outside as long as you will stay!  You won't find a sweeter boy and a A+++ snuggler!
