Our “Honorary” All Texas Dachshund of the Day is absolutely adorable Autumn, a.k.a. Auty!

She is three to four months old and weighs about 15 lbs. Auty was found as a stray in far NW Houston. An unsuccessful search for an owner led to the call we received asking for help. We certainly couldn’t turn our back on her, so we said yes.

Auty is a beautiful black and tan Heeler full of puppy energy! She needs a forever family with land to run on and the ability to give her a “job” to keep her busy! She’s currently being cared for in an ATDR Foster home where she’s driving the Dachshunds crazy!
