Cooper is a sprightly one-year-old male dachshund. He has lots of energy and loves to play, play, play! He loves to run, so his person must be able to ensure he is securely held or he will try to bolt. He needs plenty of chew toys to help with his teething. He’s good with kids old enough to treat him with respect, barking initially, but will get along after some time to socialize with them. He’s very protective and fiercely wants to protect his home. He’s a very loving and affectionate boy adored by everyone who meets him! The quickest way to his heart is a good belly rub!
Cooper would benefit from having a doggy playmate near his age and a securely fenced yard where they can run and play.
