Poor, precious Gwen somehow ended up in an animal shelter who thankfully contacted ATDR... There is no way we could say no to this senior girl so in need of help. After being examined at the shelter, they reported that she has multiple mammory masses, very large, one about 4-5 inches in diameter hanging from her caudal mammary area (see picture), dragging behind back legs, making it hard for her to walk or sit comfortably. Muscle wasting is also present in addition to other health issues. Stay tuned as we learn additional information to report here.
Gwen is now under the expert care of Safari Vet Veterinary Clinic where ATDR will spare no expense at efforts to improve her condition and health and make her as comfortable as possible. Care like Gwen will be receiving is extremely costly. If you would like to help ATDR help Gwen, please go to the Donate button on the left-hand side of this page or send a check or money order to the PO Box above it. Nothing could ever be too large or too small and any amount would be greatly appreciated. ATDR could never do as much as they do for these precious angels in need without the generosity of people who care.
In the meantime, please keep Gwen in your thoughts and prayers as she struggles through this journey to what we hope will be better health.
