Spike was found as a stray in a nice neighborhood but no signs were posted and he was out on the streets alone!  Spike is a gentle and sweet boy that seems to be missing someone from his past and watches the front door to see if they might return one day to collect him.  He appeared to be in good physical shape but when he was vetted it was determined that he was heartworm positive and so will begin the process of treatment very soon.  Spike is a wonderful and loving boy that deserves better than he got in life - and this is just the begining of his road to recovery!  Please consider giving Spike a second chance at a good life!
