Hello, my name is Miranda and I am a very lucky girl. I was at a shelter for a month before ATDR rescued me. There was much excitement at the vet’s office when my heartworm test turned out to be negative. The doctor told me I had very bright eyes and that I’m in great shape (lean and muscular).
I love my foster mom but she has 2 boys she calls my foster brothers (yuck) and I have to share her with them. I don’t like it when she loves on them so I like to push them out of the way (I’m protecting her). My mom says I’m very confident, strong and dominant. She calls me an alpha female, whatever that means. I would really prefer to be the only one getting her attention. I follow her around everywhere even when she’s in the shower I wait patiently staring at her through the glass. As soon as she opens the shower door, I jump in. Sometimes she takes that opportunity to give me a bath – which I don’t mind at all.
I love going for long walks and then resting on my mom’s lap while she pets me, rubs my belly or scratches my neck. I nudge her hand with my nose when she stops to let her know I want her to keep doing it. I like sleeping in the big bed under the covers where I can be as close to mom as I can. I’m a good sleeper but I wake up when the alarm clock buzzes and don't let mom go back to sleep by giving her kisses until she gets up. She doesn't have to hit the snooze button like she used to.
Mom says my previous owners must have had a doggie door because she took me to a friend’s house that had one and I went in and out without any hesitation or coaxing – boy, she’s easy to please, it was no big deal to me. I can stay in a crate while mom’s at work but I don’t like it too much. She doesn’t trust me alone with the boys (one’s young and one’s pretty old – pffft, sissies)
If you want a pretty, athletic, loyal and loving redhead bombshell, you won't go wrong with me. xoxoxoxo
