Mickey is a gorgeous mini boy between 1-2 years old. He is a black/tan piebald and weighs about 11 lbs. He's housetrained and still squats to pee. Mickey was found a half mile from a kill shelter. Apparently, he was dumped hoping the shelter would find him. But a wonderful former vet tech found him and called ATDR. Mickey is a fun boy who loves to play ball! He gets along great with children, strangers and other dogs. He doesn't bark when he greets strangers, but runs to them to be petted.
Mickey is a light positive for heartworms. He is available for adoption and the monthly heartworm medication and Doxycycline will be provided to his new family. Mickey will need to be retested in February 2011 and ATDR will pay for treatment if he is still positive. We expect him to be negative! Mickey is full of fun and love! Since Mickey is a perfect conformation of a piebald, he won't last long. Put your application in today for this sweet guy!
