Samson is a handsome, friendly boy with the softest black coat and a bit of white on his chest. He came to us from a Dallas area shelter who really wanted rescue to save him because he's such a very friendly boy who never meets a stranger! He loves to play and gets along great with other dogs, big and small. He even tried to play with a 130 pound Newfoundland at the Dog Bowl event in Dallas! Sam, as he's called in his foster home, has a little hair loss around his eyes & snout, but multiple skin scrapings by two vets have all come back negative so our vet believes it could be allergy related, or possibly some type of burn. Since being with his foster family the past few weeks the area has not gotten any worse and it may eventually grow back with good nutrition. If you're interested in a fun and active young guy, Sam's your man!
Update June 14, 2011
Sam's foster mom reports he's quite the house organizer. Sam has taken it upon himself to organize all the dog blankets and toys and neatly place them by the door. He also LOVES socks and in taking them to the backyard for some fun playtime. Sam would so much like to find his forever home. Hopefully, you might be the One!
