Meet Lucy! This sweet girl was picked up as a stray and taken to BARC, where she was listed as a dachshund. When one of our ATDR volunteers went to visit her, it was clear she was not a dachshund. However, it was clear that Lucy was terrified and needed a second chance. Since Lucy has left BARC, she has become a new dog!! She loves walks, treats, belly rubs and trips to the park. She does well with both big and small dogs -- she loves to be chased! Lucy would love a big yard or a forever home with children to play with or an active owner. She would love to be your loyal companion. Lucy has been successfully treated for heart worms, spayed, microchipped and is up to date on shots/flea & heart worm preventative. She also came potty trained. :) Lucy is around 20-25 pounds and probably between 1 and 2 years old. Look into those eyes.....how can you resist?
NOTE: Lucy has completed heartworm treatment and is heartworm free!
