Trixie is one lucky little puppy! A precious four month old lanky little dachshund/terrier mix, Trixie was a victim of a tragic house fire. The electric stove shorted out and only 12 of the 25 dogs in the home were rescued. EMS took 11 dogs to the SPCA and afterwards a dedicated fireman found our sweet Trixie hiding in a closet. She is a bit timid and shy, but learning to play with her foster brothers and sisters. Trixie loves to be held and cuddled like a baby. You can see a bit of missing hair where it was singed and even after about 10 baths she still smells like smoke. Please find a spot in your heart for Trixie!
