Hi! My name is Skeeter! Ain't I handsome? My foster Mom and Dad think I am the bomb! They say I am so well mannered and they love to watch me play with my toys because when I get really excited I do ZOOMIES around the house. My previous owner abandoned me a couple of months ago and I had to pack my bag and start looking for a new home. No worries though, my foster Mom and Dad say I can stay with them for as long as it takes, but they told me it won't be long! You know why? Because not only am I well mannered, but I am also house trained and I sleep quite in the kennel at night (although I love sleeping in the big bed too) AND I get along with other dogs (as long as they get along with me) and people too! I'm a very loyal guy, and quickly attach to my Hoomans. I can be a little growly (foster mom thinks its because I am insecure from being abandoned) so I need a home that is experienced With the Dachshund breed. I am a big boy, weighing in at about 15lbs. but foster Mom says that just means there is more of me to love. I would sure like to have a Happy New, LIFE, wouldn't you love to give me one? Seeing how I am so handsome and all...I mean really just look at that face! I am neutered, current on shots, Heartworm negative and Microchipped. All that wrapped up in a pretty black and tan dapple package.
