Description: Hunter started his journey with ATDR a couple of years ago when his original owner went to Jail. This poor guy wound up at the SPCA and remained there 'til ATDR rescued him. He was confused but warmed up quickly and was adopted in short order.
The next chapter was equally sad when his adoptive Mom became ill and was no longer able to care for him and he was rehomed with a local vet. Our contract indicates all ATDR dogs should come back to us, to ensure safety but alas that did not happen for Hunter. Fast forward to today, after SEVEN homes, he is back with us and safe in his original foster home. We went to great lengths to track him down and he was flown back from out of state and finally getting settled once again. We hope that his adventures will become a faint memory and he will adjust to life in his foster home once again. Our Christmas wish for Hunter is that his next home will be his last. No one deserves a forever home more than Hunter! He didn't ask to be moved from pillar to post, nor to lose everyone he cared about over time. Please help us give Hunter the family he needs to help him get back on track and make his Christmas and New Year bright!
