Meet Rudy a gorgeous red male that is full of love and energy and waiting for just the right home!  Hope he'll find the home of his dreams for the holidays.  

Rudy was abandoned at a grooming facility and ended up at the pound.  He is estimated to be no more than 2 years old.   He enjoys playing with squeaky toys and balls but really loves his quiet time being a lap dog.  He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and has yet to show any interest in the cat.  His favorite playmate in his foster home is a 30 pound Dachshund mix.  He has had some exposure to larger dogs and is getting more used to being around them.  He is a gentleman in the house and does not lift his leg.  Rudy is housetrained and uses the doggy door.  He is very good with children and enjoys their company.  He has not been tested with children under age 5 but he is very tolerant and would likely do well with younger children if they are gentle with him.  Rudy sleeps soundly through the night.   He will tolerate being crated but since he is so well-behaved he is allowed to stay gated in the breakfast area when his foster mom and dad are away at work.  Won’t you consider adding this wonderful boy to your family?
