Description:

Brownie is an adorable, sweet and playful little guy with tons of energy! He loves playing with his rope toys or tennis balls, and he has a great love of the backyard sprinkler! Brownie has a very Jack Russell personality. He can be mischievous, but he has a very good heart. He can jump super high and he loves to run full speed around the house and back yard. He plays well with his foster brothers and sisters, and he loves to snuggle on the sofa or under the covers in the big bed with his favorite person.

Brownie completed obedience training with flying colors! He is super smart and learns new commands very quickly. Part of his training was learning to cope correctly with his fear of strangers. Brownie gets nervous around people he doesn’t know, but over the six weeks of training learned that strangers are not all bad. He will always have some fear though, so he would do best in a house that does not receive many visitors. He will also need a home with someone who has been through training with a dog before or would be willing to take him to more classes. He does best when his mind is kept at work.  Brownie is not good for apartment living.

Brownie's foster mom will work with his new family to make sure that his transition is a smooth one and will work at teaching them the commands and training that he has received. He would love to find just the right people who will understand him and make him feel safe.

BROWNIE WILL BE ADOPTED IN THE HOUSTON AREA ONLY.
