Description:
Coco Chanel was rescued from the San Antonio impound with a serious orthopedic injury.  Her fractures were consistent with a car accident and sweet Chanel was alone and painful in the shelter.  Several days past before we got the word and on her last day she was surrendered to ATDR and whisked about to our vet in Austin - VCA TAnglewood! 

After a full evaluation it was determined that she had a severe broken pelvis and femur.  She required special surgery and Dr. Might once again came to our rescue!  He performed an FHO - Femoral head osteotomy and Chanel is resting comfortably now and awaiting transport to a foster home where she will relax for a couple weeks and then begin her Physical Therapy program!

She has won the hearts of everyone at the clinic with her charm and sweet disposition.  Stay tuned as we watch her progress!
