My name is Mattie Lou and I am a little over a year old and weigh 9 lbs. I came from a high-volume breeder and was spayed emergently after having a c-section in December. Some of my favorite things to do are sit in my foster mom's lap, snuggle in the big bed, play in the yard, go for walks, and pace. I'm a little hyper at times, but foster mom and dad are working with me on that. I have learned to tolerate cats, but I will bark and bark at them until I can't see them anymore. I love my foster doggie sisters and get along great with them. I would love to go to a home with at least one other dog. I feel more comfortable when they are around. I definitely need a yard to play in because I have tons of energy. I have a few things that you need to know about before you say yes to me. I prefer women to men and kids just aren't my thing. I will bark and growl at men and kids, even if you live with me. I have never bitten or even snapped, but I can sure make a lot of noise if I get scared. I will run in circles nonstop until you distract me. I can be hard to catch but wilI come to treats anytime. I am crate and housetrained and will use pee pads when I really need to go.
I have so much love to offer & I am just looking for someone who can look past the small things and love me just the way I am. My foster mom will be more than willing to spend as much time with you as you need to understand what I am all about.
